Custom closets for Moorpark homes
Walk-in closets, reach-in closets and built-in wardrobes for Moorpark homes, designed in 3D and built to order in our Newbury Park shop.
Closets planned around what you own
Storage planned around what you own works better than any off-the-shelf system. We design, build and install walk-in closets, reach-in closets and built-in wardrobes for homeowners in Moorpark, and every piece is built to order in our shop at 817 Mitchell Rd in Newbury Park. Moorpark is a straightforward drive north of the Conejo Valley.
How a closet project works
Every project starts with a free in-home consultation where we measure the space and talk through what needs to fit: long and short hanging, folded clothes, shoes and accessories. From there we design the right mix of hanging space, shelves and drawers and show it to you in 3D, and you can adjust it until it’s right before anything is built.
Closets we build
Walk-in closets with drawer banks and lit shelving.
Reach-in closets with tall hanging sections and top shelves, and closet walls that combine hanging, drawers and a built-in bookcase.
Built-in wardrobes, including wardrobes for kids’ rooms and for rooms with no closet, or not enough of one.
Closets for Moorpark homes
Much of Moorpark’s housing dates from the 1980s through the 2000s, in neighborhoods such as Peach Hill, Campus Park, Mountain Meadows and Moorpark Highlands, with older homes near downtown along High Street. Two-story family homes from those decades often have secondary bedrooms and closets that benefit from better storage, from a reach-in or wardrobe for a kid’s room to a full walk-in in the primary suite.

Walk-in closets
A custom walk-in starts with an inventory of what needs to fit: long and short hanging, folded clothes, shoes, and accessories. We can include drawer banks and open shelving sized to what you own, double and long hanging sections, LED-lit shelving, shoe shelves, and floor-to-ceiling adjustable shelving.
Kids’ rooms
For kids’ rooms we build reach-in closets, built-in wardrobes, and desks and bookcases. Adjustable shelving lets a closet change as your kids grow.
Closet materials and hardware
Our closets are built from melamine panels and hardwood plywood, with Blum full-extension, soft-close drawer runners. Inside the closet we can add closet rods, pull-out baskets, and pant, tie and belt racks, plus valet racks and jewelry organizers. See what goes into our cabinets.
Pantries, laundry rooms and offices
The same planning works beyond the bedroom: walk-in pantry shelving, laundry and mudroom cabinets, and home office desks. See pantry and laundry cabinets.

Questions about your project
Do you come to my home for a consultation?
Yes. Every project starts with a free in-home consultation, where we measure the space and talk through your goals.
How long does a closet project take?
Smaller projects take 3–5 weeks from design approval to installation.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. Our workmanship is covered by a 1-year warranty.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Conejo Woodworks holds CSLB License #976852 (C-6).
How much does a custom closet cost?
It depends on the size of the closet, the layout and the materials and finishes you choose. After a free consultation and measurement we give you a quote for your closet, and the 3D design lets you adjust features to fit your budget.
Can you add a wardrobe to a room without a closet?
Yes. A built-in wardrobe can add closet storage to a room that has none, or supplement a small reach-in closet.
