Pantry and laundry cabinets for Calabasas homes
Walk-in pantry shelving, pantry walls and laundry rooms for Calabasas homes, planned around what you keep and built to order in our Newbury Park shop.
Pantries that keep up with the kitchen
Conejo Woodworks designs, builds and installs pantry and laundry cabinetry for homeowners in Calabasas. In a home that entertains, the pantry carries more than groceries: serving pieces, extra glassware, small appliances and party supplies all need a place. We plan the shelf depths, drawers and counters around what you keep, then build it to order in our Newbury Park shop.
Calabasas homes
Calabasas incorporated in 1991, and its housing ranges from 1960s and 1970s neighborhoods to planned communities such as Calabasas Park and larger custom homes in gated communities in the hills. Larger homes often have a walk-in or butler’s pantry and a dedicated laundry room, while older homes gain the most from a tall pantry wall built into the kitchen.

Walk-in and butler’s pantries
- Open wood shelving on three walls of a walk-in
- A counter run for small appliances, with outlets planned in
- Drawers for linens, foil and wraps
- Glass-front or closed uppers for serving pieces
- Tall pantry cabinets with pull-outs beside the refrigerator
Laundry rooms and mudrooms
We build laundry rooms with uppers over the machines, base cabinets around a utility sink, tall cabinets for cleaning gear and cabinetry around a stacked washer and dryer. Next door in Hidden Hills we set a stacked washer and dryer into tall white shaker cabinets; it is one of the photos below.
By the garage door, tall mudroom cabinets and a bench can catch bags, shoes and sports gear before they reach the kitchen.
Shelving and cabinets that hold up
Pantry shelves carry heavy cans, jars and appliances, so we plan shelf depths and spans around what you store. Shelves sit on shelf-support pins where you want them adjustable, cabinet boxes are hardwood plywood or melamine panels, and drawers and pull-outs run on Blum soft-close hardware. See what goes into our cabinets.

Planned around how you entertain
For a home that hosts, we plan the pantry with the kitchen and dining room in mind: platters and serving pieces near the door to the dining room, a counter where a coffee maker or a second microwave can live, and tall storage for the things that come out only a few times a year. You review the full layout in 3D and can change shelf heights and counter space before anything is built.
