Custom bathroom vanities for Malibu homes

Single and double vanities, tower cabinets and linen storage for Malibu bathrooms, built to order in our Newbury Park shop to fit your plans and plumbing.

Vanities for every bathroom in a rebuild

A rebuilt house often needs cabinetry for several bathrooms at once: a primary bath, guest baths and a powder room. If you are rebuilding after the recent fires, we can plan every vanity from your architect’s plans, build them to order in our Newbury Park shop and install them once the house is ready.

We build the vanity cabinetry; tile, plumbing fixtures and the rest of the room stay with your contractor and the other trades, and we work alongside them.

Fitted to the plumbing, not the catalog

Because each vanity is built to order, it can be sized to the exact wall, window and plumbing locations on your plans rather than the nearest stock width. Drawers can be split around the sink trap, a tower can rise beside the mirror, and a floating vanity can leave the floor open.

Your vanities can carry the door style and finish of your kitchen, or each bathroom can have its own look.

Salt air, steam and water

Bathrooms are the wettest rooms in a house, and Malibu adds salt air from the ocean. As general guidance, finishes sealed on every face and edge resist moisture better, hardware with a corrosion-resistant finish such as stainless steel tends to hold up near the coast, and a well-ventilated bathroom is easier on any cabinetry.

We talk through finishes and hardware with that in mind during design, and plan door and drawer layouts so the plumbing is easy to reach later.

Malibu bathrooms, coast to canyon

Beach houses along Pacific Coast Highway and in the Colony often have compact bathrooms where a floating vanity or a narrow tower makes the most of the space. Homes on Point Dume, near Zuma and up Malibu Canyon tend to have larger primary baths with room for a long double vanity and a linen cabinet.

Wherever the house sits, every project starts with a free consultation and a 3D design you can adjust until it is right.

What goes into a vanity

A vanity takes water, steam and daily use, so the parts matter. The boxes are hardwood plywood, the doors and drawer fronts come from Corona Millworks in shaker, five-piece and slab styles, and drawers and doors close on Blum soft-close hardware. Vanity pull-outs can keep hair tools and supplies organized inside the cabinet.

Questions about your project

Can you build vanities for every bathroom in our rebuild?

Yes. We build anything from a single vanity to vanities, towers and linen storage for several bathrooms at once, and we can plan them from your architect’s plans.

Do you handle the rest of the bathroom?

We build and install the vanity cabinetry and work alongside your contractor and other trades on the rest of the room.

What finishes hold up in a coastal bathroom?

Bathrooms near the ocean deal with steam and salt air, so we talk through finish and hardware options during design. As general guidance, fully sealed finishes and corrosion-resistant hardware tend to hold up better.

How long does installation take?

Installation typically takes 1–2 days for smaller projects, followed by finishing work.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Conejo Woodworks holds California Contractors State License Board license #976852 (C-6 Cabinet, Millwork and Finish Carpentry).
