Perimeter cabinets, islands, pantries and hoods for Ventura kitchens, designed in 3D and built to order in our Newbury Park shop.
Kitchen cabinetry built to order
Conejo Woodworks designs, builds and installs custom kitchen cabinetry for homeowners in Ventura: perimeter cabinets, islands, pantries, hoods and specialty storage. Every cabinet is built to order in our shop at 817 Mitchell Rd in Newbury Park.
Kitchens in Ventura homes
Downtown Ventura and Midtown have many early 20th-century homes, including Craftsman bungalows and Spanish Revival houses, while the east end grew with mid-century and later tract neighborhoods, and Pierpont and the Ventura Keys add beach and waterfront homes. Older homes often come with smaller kitchens, unusual wall dimensions, and details worth keeping, all of which call for cabinetry built to fit.
Near the ocean, salt air and humidity are worth considering when choosing finishes and hardware. We will talk through options during design.
Our process
1. A free in-home consultation where we measure and talk through your goals.
2. A 3D design you can adjust until it’s right.
3. The build in our Newbury Park shop. Most kitchens take 4–8 weeks from design approval to installation.
4. Installation, which usually takes 4–5 days for a kitchen, followed by finishing work.
For a full walk-through of a kitchen from design to install, see our Lake Sherwood kitchen story.
