Pantries in older Ventura homes
Downtown Ventura and Midtown have many early 20th-century homes, including Craftsman bungalows and Spanish Revival houses. Their kitchens are often compact, and the original pantry, if there is one, may be a narrow cupboard or a converted closet.
Custom shelving can make the most of an odd-shaped pantry, and a tall pantry cabinet beside the refrigerator can add a surprising amount of storage to a small kitchen. We can match new cabinetry to existing cabinets and trim when a project calls for it.
Laundry rooms and mudrooms
On the east end, mid-century and later tract homes often have the laundry in the garage or a small room off the kitchen. Uppers over the machines, a base cabinet around a utility sink and a tall cabinet for brooms and the ironing board can turn that space into a real laundry room.

Shelving and cabinets that hold up
Pantry shelves carry heavy cans, jars and appliances, so we plan shelf depths and spans around what you store. Shelves sit on shelf-support pins where you want them adjustable, cabinet boxes are hardwood plywood or melamine panels, and drawers and pull-outs run on Blum soft-close hardware.
